Second Year Animation Studio Work
limited animation
This year, we are exploring the concept of limited animation, a method that gained prominence during periods of economic downturn as a cost-effective way for animation studios to stay operational. For our assignment, we are required to use limited animation to depict a reaction to the theme of *“The World’s Greatest Gift.”* I’m finding it challenging to clearly distinguish between true limited animation and traditional animation techniques. Striking the right balance while ensuring the final work adheres to the principles of limited animation is proving to be tricky. Additionally, I want to incorporate elements like limited color movement to make the animation feel even more constrained, emphasizing the "limited" aspect while still delivering an impactful and artistic result.
